“The long-awaited revision plan for the inner ring road is almost complete, and we will continue to promote its implementation. “PMRDA will reduce the width of the inner ring road, focusing on the construction of 88km of the 128km road, the rest will be developed by MSRDC,” a PMRDA official said.

He said the decision to reduce the width of the inner ring road from 110 meters to 65 meters was made considering that the outer ring road is only a few kilometers away.

The Outer Ring Road is divided into he two parts, 74 km from Ursu on Yashwantraochavan Expressway to Shivale on Pnesatara National Highway, known as Eastern Ring Road, and back from Shivare to Shivare, known as Eastern Ring Road. It includes 63 km of ring roads. Ulus becomes known as the Western Ring Road.

The width of the road is 90 to 110 meters, with 3 lanes on each side for 97.80 kilometers of the ring road and 4 lanes on each side for the 39 kilometers section. The outer ring road has 14 intersections, 8 pedestrian underpasses, 6 small vehicle underpasses, 13 light vehicle underpasses, 37 vehicle underpasses, 28 vehicle viaducts, 3 railway bridges, and a large scale. 16 bridges, 38 small bridges, 230 culverts, and 10 tunnels will be constructed.
